NOTE: Sea Scouts and Venturers may earn ScoutsBSA advancements (ranks and merit badges) if they have obtained 1st Class rank in a troop. For more information on BSA policy, see the Guide to Advancement.
For scouts who have earned 1st class in a Troop, a Scoutbook admin should first set the Scout up for ScoutsBSA advancement:
Click on the unit roster
Click on the Scout
Click on Extended Information
Scroll down and make sure the Scouts BSA Advancement toggle is set to ON
Then Update the profile.
To record ScoutsBSA advancements:
Click on the Scout in the Scoutbook Roster
Click on the Scout’s BSA Advancements
